Many of those who lost their jobs two years ago when CFS shut down, are signing on again with the same man who ran that now-bankrupt company.
Last week, Bill Bartmann announced he was starting a new business and he plans to hire as many as 3,000 workers.
Tonya Farmer used to work at CFS. She, along with about one thousand other former CFS employees, are hoping to get a job with Bartmann's new company, Debt Discounters of America. "I don't have any problem going back to work for him."
Bill Bartmann, "And the fact that they're willing to give up a good paying job to come back and work for me is the highest compliment that I could get from anyone."
Bartmann hopes to have 500 employees by the end of the first year, and 3,000 workers by the end of the third year of operation.
Debt Discounters of America has a fax-line set up to accept resumes. That number is 523-2500.
