(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Edmond politician says he wants Indian gaming operations to contribute more tax revenue to the state.
State Representative Wayne Pettigrew says an Oklahoma Tax Commission estimate shows the state loses 50 (m) million dollars a year from tribal businesses that don't pay state tax.
But Indian officials say Indian gaming operations create more than eight-thousand jobs and pump an additional 329 (m) million dollars into the economy every year.
