(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The state Election Board says about 30% of Oklahoma's registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday's primary elections.
The numbers were finalized today as the board certified Tuesday's election results.
The board says the total number of voters in the state was 556,000.
The only races that are not finalized are those involving county commissioners. Those races must be certified by county election boards.
Election board Secretary Mike Clingman says voter turnout was about 50,000 less than expected. Clingman says he expects the turnout for the September 17th runoff to be considerably smaller.
