A federal judge has set a January 21st trial date for a lawsuit filed by black police officers against the city of Tulsa.

The city is hoping to reach an agreement before then. Louis Bullock represents the officers, who filed the lawsuit in 1994. He doesn't think there will be a settlement.

The city attorney says both sides are not that far apart.
