Tulsa driver escapes serious injury when metal rod falls off passing truck

A close call Wednesday morning for a Tulsa woman on her way to work. Linda Williams was driving south on Highway 75 when a steel re-enforced rod suddenly hit her car. <br><br>It missed her by inches.

A close call Wednesday morning for a Tulsa woman on her way to work. Linda Williams was driving south on Highway 75 when a steel re-enforced rod suddenly hit her car.

It missed her by inches. The piece of metal apparently came from a truck going the opposite direction, missing the woman. Linda Williams, â€œriding down the expressway, pipe cam off of the truck and slammed back in my car.â€

Williams was treated for some glass cuts, she'll be okay. Her passenger was not hurt.
