Tulsa driver escapes serious injury when metal rod falls off passing truck

A close call Wednesday morning for a Tulsa woman on her way to work. Linda Williams was driving south on Highway 75 when a steel re-enforced rod suddenly hit her car. <br><br>It missed her by inches.

A close call Wednesday morning for a Tulsa woman on her way to work. Linda Williams was driving south on Highway 75 when a steel re-enforced rod suddenly hit her car.

It missed her by inches. The piece of metal apparently came from a truck going the opposite direction, missing the woman. Linda Williams, “riding down the expressway, pipe cam off of the truck and slammed back in my car.”

Williams was treated for some glass cuts, she'll be okay. Her passenger was not hurt.
