Former Oklahoma State quarterback Joe Phears has been released by the Tulsa Talons.

Phears is the top-rated passer in arenafootball-Two, but was a backup to Talons starting quarterback Anthony Buich.

Phears is now a free agent and is available to sign with any AF2 team.

The Talons are 11-and-2 on the season and have clinched the Central Division title. Tulsa plays Fresno Saturday night at the Convention Center in Tulsa.
