Lockheed-Martin of Tulsa is laying off some of its workers.

The company says it needs to consolidate its Tulsa and Dallas operations to remain competitive.

So 70 people will lose their jobs by October first at the office at 43rd and Sheridan.

Officials say the office will not be completely shut down.
