The Tulsa City-County Health Department confirms a Tulsa toddler has contracted e-coli.

Three year-old Arika Johnson was diagnosed last week with the bacterium. And experts are sending out a warning of prevention.

They say to be cautious of undercooked meat, unpasteurized fruit juices or milk products. Also, swallowing water from unchlorinated pools, or lakes and rivers.

Doctors say as few as 10 bacteria can cause infection.
