An arrest of a murder suspect turns up an explosive discovery in Sapulpa.

Sapulpa Police arrested 40-year-old Ricky Richardson at a busy intersection Monday night. That's when they found as many as four explosives believed to be pipe bombs in Richardson's truck.

The Tulsa Police Bomb Squad and authorities with the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agency were called in to retrieve the devices and destroy them. Richardson is believed to be the boyfriend of 30-year-old Paulette Sue Moss of Sapulpa. She was arrested Sunday night for the shooting death of 30-year-old Leigh Beaver.

Beaver was shot and killed at Richardson's home after a night of drinking turned violent. Richardson is being charged with one count of accessory to murder.
