(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma basketball coaches Sherri Coale and Kelvin Sampson have picked up Big 12 Coach of the Year awards from the Dallas All Sports Association.

The group also named OU safety Roy Williams its Big 12 Male Athlete of the Year.

Coale coached Oklahoma's women to a 32-and-4 record this year that ended at the N-C-double-A championship game. Coale's team won the first N-C-double-A Regional title for the Sooners and Oklahoma's first Big 12 tournament crown.

Sampson took the men to a 31-and-5 record and their fourth time in the Final Four. Sampson's team also won Oklahoma's second straight Big 12 tournament title.

Williams won last year's Bronko Nagurski and Jim Thorpe awards last year. He was picked by Dallas in the NFL draft's eighth selection this year.
