North Tulsa traffic accident sends two teens to hospital

Two Tulsa teenagers were taken to the hospital early Monday morning after the car they were riding in ran off the road. <br><br>The crash happened just west of Peoria on 66th Street North around 5 AM.

Two Tulsa teenagers were taken to the hospital early Monday morning after the car they were riding in ran off the road.

The crash happened just west of Peoria on 66th Street North around 5 AM. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver ran off the road and slammed into a tree. But, trooper Ricky Humdy says it could have been much worse. "Yeah, they lucky to be alive. Seat belts were in use so nobody got seriously hurt."

Both teens were taken to the hospital. They are expected to make full recoveries.
