(Sallisaw-AP) -- A 14-year-old Pauls Valley boy is dead after a drowning today near Sallisaw.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Travis Colt Sutton was fishing with his uncle in Sallisaw Creek when they were pulled under a bridge by a current.

Troopers say the uncle managed to free himself but Sutton was trapped in a culvert for about a half-hour.
