The money for the “Pools for Kids” campaign continues to come in.

Tulsans ate more than $31,000 worth of Arby's sandwiches, with a dollar from each Market Fresh Sandwich going toward the fund. Jeff Davis, Arby's President & CEO, “We felt it was private sectors responsibility to come in and help so that all our children in the city will have a clean swimming pool to swim in.”

Tulsa Mayor Bill LaFortune, "We're giving children a safe place to engage in a positive activity during the summer months." And there's still work to be done. The ‘Pools for Kids’ campaign so far has collected close to $250,000 and the mayor is confident uncollected pledges will take them over the top.
