The new Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City is bringing in the celebrities.
The 20,000-seat arena opens this month, and already big concerts like The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Britney and Cher have agreed to come to the Sooner State to perform.
The Ford Center is one of several projects approved in a five-year, 1-cent sales tax to transform Oklahoma City's downtown.
Mayor Kirk Humphrey’s says he is pleased with the progress.
