JENNINGS, Okla. (AP) _ A 43-year-old Jennings man died of head and chest injuries after the car he was driving missed an intersection and struck a ditch, authorities said.

Ricky Lee Brown flew out of his car Saturday night at the gravel intersection about two miles west of Jennings in Pawnee County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Sunday.

Brown was flown to a Tulsa hospital, where he was pronounced dead, troopers said.

He was not wearing a seat belt, the Patrol said.
