Muskogee High School renames gym for Sept. 11 victim

<br>(Muskogee-AP) -- Muskogee High School's gym will bear the name of a graduate who died in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon. <br><br>It becomes Major Ron D- Milam Memorial Gymnasium in September.

(Muskogee-AP) -- Muskogee High School's gym will bear the name of a graduate who died in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon.

It becomes Major Ron D- Milam Memorial Gymnasium in September.

Milam graduated 16 years ago from the school where he also played basketball four years.

Milam was an Army major when he died and worked for the assistant secretary of the Army. He and his wife had a 1-year-old daughter. A son was born after Milam's death.

Former coach Jimmy Walker says Milam was a player with a lot of heart who went after taller opponents.
