STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Nick McCurdy pitched a complete game and Jake Bollig hit a three-run homer as Oklahoma State avoided a sweep by beating Texas A&M 7-2 Sunday.
The Cowboys (34-17, 12-11 Big 12) had totaled just three runs in losing the first two games of the series, but took the lead in the first inning and McCurdy made it stand up.
McCurdy (5-0) allowed six hits and struck out six. He gave up a single run in the fourth inning and a solo homer to Neal Stephenson in the seventh.
Oklahoma State got an RBI single in the first inning from Nebasett Brown, who eventually scored on a sacrifice fly. Bollig made it 5-0 in the third with his 10th homer of the season.
Justin Moore (5-3) got the loss for A&M (34-19, 13-11). He gave up six runs and five hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Jeff Salazar had three hits for Oklahoma State.
