(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma basketball coach Sherri Coale has completed her recruiting class with a former member of Venezuela's national team.

Coale has announced Maria Villaroel from Northeastern Oklahoma has signed a letter of intent with the Sooners.

Villaroel is a two-time Kodak All-American who earned player of the year honors from the Bi-State Athletic Conference and Region Two. She averaged 24 points and more than five rebounds a game while playing for Northeastern.
