It was a high-flying birthday celebration for a Green Country man. Meet William Beveridge. He turned 81 years old Monday, and he took to the skies to celebrate.
He was in the Army Air Corps in World War II. That was the last time he piloted a plane, until Monday. "Just something I wanted to do before I died, just one more time, you know how it goes(laughing)."
The birthday boy got to fly for half an hour Monday, in a World War II training plane.
