A former administrator is accused of stealing from residents at a care center in McAlester.

34-year-old Kimberly Horan made headlines late last week when she was arrested on fraud charges out of Pittsburg County. Horan is also accused of making a false police report involving a former resident. Victim's relative, Carolyn Orr "I was shocked to realize that she was taking money from Bernice, and no telling from how many more."

Oklahoma Assistant Attorney General, Marrianne Hardcastle "We have a duty to investigate abuse, neglect exploitation of nursing homes." Horan's arrest comes as the US Government unveils a website targeting nursing home inspections.

The website gives a list of the good and bad of homes across the country, and even here in Oklahoma. It also provides information on how to report a crime at nursing homes.
