More than 800 Oklahoma soldiers are on alert. The Oklahoma National Guard says it could deploy members of the 45th Infantry Brigade to Kuwait and the Sinai as part of a peacekeeping effort there.
If they were called to duty, it would be the largest call up of Oklahoma Army Guard forces since Desert Storm 12 years ago.
