There's word of job cuts at the Tulsa district of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Spokesman Ross Adkins tells us 126-positions will be eliminated, through early retirements, incentives, and attrition. Layoffs will only be used a last resort.

And Adkins says there are no plans right now to close any Corps parks, in the three state area served by the Tulsa district.
