OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Some optional services will cost more under price adjustments filed Friday by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.

According to the plan filed with the state Corporation Commission, eight optional services will see a price increase, including call waiting for residences. Six services will cost less, including busy line interruption and busy line verification.

The cost of call waiting will go from $3 per month to $3.15 per month.

The filing also seeks an increase in dishonored check fees to $25. Dishonored checks are now $10, but Bell said the larger amount is common among most businesses and is what the company charges in other states it serves.
