Gov. Frank Keating on Tuesday signed an executive order officially setting Sept. 25 as the date for a statewide vote on right to work.
That date had been specified in legislation that passed the Legislature last month.
``I look forward to a healthy, productive debate on right to work in the coming months,'' Keating said.
"In only four months, Oklahomans will have an opportunity to make a monumental decision regarding the economic future of our great state."
Earlier this legislative session, the Oklahoma Legislature voted to bring right to work before a vote of the people.
