(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma State's Nick McCurdy has been named the Big 12 pitcher of the week.

McCurdy pitched six innings in the third game of the Bedlam baseball series over the weekend. He struck out seven while walking none, allowing four hits and two runs.

The fifth-seeded Cowboys play Wednesday in the first round of the Big 12 against number four Baylor.
