(New York-AP) -- Aaron McKie of the Philadelphia 76ers has won the NBA's Sixth Man Award.

McKie received 57 of the 124 votes cast by a panel of sports reporters. Milwaukee's Tim Thomas was second with 27 votes.

McKie averaged career highs of eleven and a-half points, four rebounds, five assists, one and a-third steals and 31 minutes per game this season. He started in 33 of the 76 games in which he played.

On January 2nd, he was selected the league's Player of the Week after averaging 22-point-three points, eight-point-seven assists, and six rebounds, and registering his first triple-double.
