It was a smooth takeoff Thursday afternoon for the pilot of an airplane that made an emergency landing in North Tulsa Wednesday evening. Doug Jandebeur had to land in a farm field at 56th street North and Yale when the engine went. He said he decided to set the plane down after he started having engine trouble. Jandebeur had to wait to take off Thursday until tractors could plow a runway.
