(Tulsa-AP) -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane is confident about its N-I-T semifinal matchup with Memphis Tuesday.
Tulsa earned the trip to New York City by winning road games against Big Ten and Southeastern Conference opponents.
Those victories are especially nice because Tulsa stumbled at times away from home during the regular season.
Coach Buzz Peterson says he looks forward to ending the season in tradition-rich Madison Square Garden.
There's been some speculation that other schools are interested in hiring Peterson. But he insists he's not looking past Tuesday's game.
Tulsa and Memphis play the second semifinal game, following the game between Detroit and Alabama that starts at 6 pm (CST).
The semifinals and Thursday's finals are being played at Madison Square Garden in New York.
