(Luther-AP) -- Luther's Board of Trustees is delaying action concerning the suspension of the town's police chief but is hiring two reserve police officers. Following a three-hour executive session, the board says it postponed action at the request of Chief Wayne Wilson. Wilson has said his suspension is because of a lack of officer certification. One of the reserve officers hired by the board was fired by Wilson earlier this year after a law enforcement training official said the officer didn't have required training. Town officials decline to discuss the reason for Wilson's suspension.
