Washington-AP) -- U-S Senator Don Nickles of Oklahoma says debate on reforming campaign financing will be a free-for-all.
Nickles says he expects some form of compromise to come from the two-week debate on a bill to reform the campaign laws, but says he doesn't know what the legislation will be.
Nickles is the second-ranking Republican in the Senate and spoke on ``Fox News Sunday.''
The bill is sponsored by Republican Senator John McCain and Democratic Senator Russell Feingold. McCain says he believes there is a 60 percent chance that Congress will approve major reforms to campaign finance laws this year.
