(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa police arrested a man who allegedly carjacked a van with a 16-month old child inside, then ran over two women, including the baby's mother.
Tommy Lee Christmas Junior was arrested yesterday afternoon after crashing the stolen van into at least five other cars about a mile from where the van was taken.
Officer Lucky Lamons says Christmas first wrecked a stolen car on a city street, then ran to the van where Jemelene Wilson was putting her daughter in a car seat. Christmas allegedly knocked the driver of the van, Penny Rose, to the ground and backed over her, then struck Wilson with the vehicle.
The infant was thrown to the floor of the van as it sped away, but wasn't injured.
Wilson was taken to a local hospital for treatment and Rose was admitted to the hospital in fair condition.
