(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State has hired another assistant football coach, but is losing two players.

Head coach Les Miles is hiring former Maryland assistant Doug Mallory to coach the Cowboy secondary.

Meanwhile, both receiver Marcellus Rivers and quarterback Ryan Biven say they will not return for another season.

Rivers has retained an agent and plans to make himself available for the N-F-L draft.

Biven is a walk-on who finished the 2000 season as the number-two quarterback behind Aso Pogi Biven says he decided to leave the team when he wasn't offered a scholarship, but will remain at O-S-U as a student.
