(Muskogee-AP) -- A Hugo couple that prosecutors say were major drug suppliers has been sentenced to lengthy prison terms for their convictions on drug charges.

Assistant U-S Attorney Michael Littlefield says Larry Dean was sentenced to 14-years in prison and Stella Dean to just over 11-years.

The Dean's were found guilty in May 2000 of distribution, and possession with intent to distribute, methamphetamine.

Littlefield says the Deans were major suppliers of methamphetimine in southeast Oklahoma and north Texas for several years.
