(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Ministers who oppose the death penalty will hold a strategy session tomorrow night. They'll meet in the same Oklahoma City church where the Reverend Jesse Jackson spoke last week.
Jackson encouraged the opponents to go to jail if necessary to bring pressure for a moratorium on executions. Some have already begun fasting and praying.
State Representative Opio says he began fasting on Sunday and has had only water since then.
Toure is sponsoring a bill to place a one-year moratorium on executions while issues regarding how the death penalty is applied are reviewed.
Eight executions are scheduled over the next four weeks, including one tonight.
