(Kansas City-AP) -- Yesterday was quite a day for Big Twelve Conference basketball teams.
Teams from the Big Twelve went 7-and-oh and knocked off four ranked teams, including Number 18 Oklahoma's 88-79 overtime win against Number 25 Arkansas.
The Sooners struggled most of the night but were 5-of-6 from the floor in the final one minute, 43 seconds to force overtime. Hollis Price scored all 21 of his points after halftime, including nine in overtime. Still, the Sooners tied a season-low with 40 percent shooting.
Elsewhere, Texas beat Number Five Illinois 72-64. Number Nine Kansas slipped past Ohio State 69-68.
In Hawaii, Iowa State took down Number 24 Mississippi 73-68.
Baylor also beat North Texas and Colorado notched a 109-86 victory over Colorado State.
