IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Troy Aikman could play in the Dallas Cowboys' season finale against Tennessee.
"At this point, we're going to continue to evaluate Troy,"
coach Dave Campo said Monday. "He has not been ruled out yet."
Aikman, who sustained his second concussion of the season and 10th of his career a week ago, watched from the sideline Sunday as Dallas lost 17-13 to the New York Giants.
The quarterback worked out Monday, but did not speak to reporters. Next weekend's game has little meaning to Dallas (5-10), but Tennessee (12-3) needs a win to clinch the AFC Central and home field advantage in the AFC playoffs.
If Aikman can't play, Anthony Wright will make the second start of his NFL career. Randall Cunningham, Aikman's top backup, has a sore groin muscle.
Wright made his first start, and just his third NFL appearance, against the Giants. He was 13-of-25 for 119 yards with an interception and a fumble. He was sacked five times and ran four times for 26 yards.
"I think I did OK," he said. "I didn't expect to go out and be perfect. It was a learning experience, a good one."
