(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Talk about making it easy on car thieves.
Oklahomans who turn on their cars, then wait inside for them to warm up could be asking for trouble.
One Oklahoma City man's car was stolen this morning after he left it running outside his apartment.
The man told police he saw the thief jump in the car. But when he tried to stop him, he pointed a pistol and drove off.
Police have not recovered the car or arrested anyone for the incident.
Authorities suggest locking your car while it's running, then using a spare key to open it.
