(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State junior guard Maurice Baker is the Big 12 Conference rookie of the week.

Baker scored a career-high 25 points in the Cowboy's victory over 21st-ranked Arkansas.

He made the layup that gave the Cowboys the lead for good. And his two free throws clinched the team's final one-point victory.

Baker was the player of the week last week and was named rookie of the week today.

He has averaged 22-point-five points in his last four games. Against Wichita State, he put up 18 points and led the team in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals.

The 4-and-1 Cowboys play Northwestern State of Louisiana in Oklahoma City on Saturday night.
