(Irving, Texas-AP) -- Troy Aikman's agent tells The Associated Press that the Dallas quarterback probably won't play against the New York Giants on Sunday.

Leigh Steinberg says Aikman is recovering today from the mild concussion he suffered yesterday.

It's Aikman's second concussion this season and the tenth of his career.

Cowboys Coach Dave Campo says the 34-year-old Aikman's status is day-to-day.

Steinberg says Aikman's status for the Cowboys' season finale, on Christmas night at Tennessee, is questionable.

He says he'll sit with Aikman after this season and have a long discussion about the player's future.
