(Tulsa-AP) -- Marcus Hill hit a game-tying layup with just three seconds left, then scored the first basket in overtime as Tulsa held off city rival Oral Roberts 89-to-81 today.
Tulsa made all four of its field goals and 9 of 12 free throws in outscoring Oral Roberts 18-to-10 in overtime.
Tulsa squandered a 13-point second half lead in nearly losing to Oral Roberts for the second consecutive year.
The Eagles took their first lead of the second half at 65-to-63 with more than three minutes left on two free throws by Josh Atkinson. O-R-U grabbed a 71-to-69 advantage when Chris Cameron hit a 3-point shot with 19 seconds left.
Cameron poured in a career-high 19 on 7-of-11 shooting. He was 4-for-7 on 3-pointers.
Guard Dante Swanson tied David Shelton for game-high honors for T-U with 17 points each.
