Tamara Davis, Computer Science Instructor, Tulsa Community College (TCC), is the Year 2000 Oklahoma Business Education Association (OBEA) Post-Secondary Teacher of the Year.
A former instructor at Oklahoma State University (OSU) Okmulgee, Davis also taught business or computer courses at Olive and Liberty High Schools, Tulsa’s Street School, and Central Area Vocational Technical School in Drumright.
Davis is OBEA President and International Society for Business Education (ISBE) Mountain Plains Representative. She has held several OBEA offices and presented sessions on the use of Internet in the classroom at the annual conventions of OBEA and Oklahoma Alternative Education Association.
Davis has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees, both in Business Education, from OSU.
She is a former National Junior Achievement Economics Teacher of the Year and a Homeland/Apple Computer Top 25 Teacher of the Year.
Davis is a member of Delta Pi Epsilon, the national graduate honorary for education and business, and was a Brownie Leader in the Girl Scouts of USA.
