(Oklahoma City-AP) -- U-S Representative Tom Coburn says he's officially done stumping in the Second Congressional District.

The Republican supported Andy Ewing in a losing effort against Democrat Brad Carson.

But Coburn says he'd even support Carson as long as he votes in the interest of the district.

If Carson doesn't vote for the district's interest, then Coburn says he'll be Carson's worst critic.

That may be likely, since Coburn opposes abortion rights for women while Carson supports them.

Meanwhile, Governor Keating says he's not interested in the First District seat if U-S Representative Steve Largent doesn't run for re-election.

Keating did say he would seriously consider the office of attorney general if George W- Bush is elected president.
