(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops says he's not thinking about bowl possibilities, but the Sooners appear popular with major bowl officials.
There is no question where O-U will play if the top-ranked Sooners continue to win. They'll be in the Orange Bowl playing for the national championship.
If O-U wins its remaining regular season games against Texas Tech and Oklahoma State, but loses the Big 12 Conference championship game, a trip to the Sugar Bowl is possible.
A spokesman for the Fiesta Bowl says he's nearly certain Oklahoma would get a Sugar Bowl invitation should the Sooners not wind up in the Orange Bowl.
Sugar Bowl executive director Paul Hoolahan will only say O-U would be very, very attractive.
Stoops, meanwhile, says all he's thinking about is beating Texas Tech on Saturday.
