JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars lost right tackle Zach Wiegert for the season with a torn ligament in his left knee.

Wiegert was the replacement for Leon Searcy, who was injured in July and is out until at least November. Center John Wade is on injured reserve with a broken foot.

Others missing Sunday's 35-16 loss to Washington with injuries included linebacker Hardy Nickerson (hamstring), defensive end Renaldo Wynn (knee) and cornerback Fernando Bryant (hamstring).

Defensive tackle Gary Walker (hamstring) and linebacker Lonnie Marts (groin) each left Sunday's game early and their status is in doubt for next week's game against Dallas.

``Hey, we've still got quarterbacks, still got wide receivers, still got running backs,'' said receiver Jimmy Smith, who barely played Sunday because of a bruised knee.

Todd Fordham, recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury of his own, will likely take Wiegert's spot on the line. That leaves left tackle Tony Boselli, yet another ACL victim, as the only remaining starting lineman from the beginning of training camp.

Coach Tom Coughlin doesn't like using injuries as an excuse, but after Jacksonville's latest defeat, even he was at a loss.

``The number of people that were not a part of the game is almost at the ridiculous stage, to be honest,'' he said.
