(Norman-AP) -- The Oklahoma women's golf team won its first tournament of the season today by taking first place at the U-A-L-R Lady Trojan Invitational.

The Sooners finished 13 strokes ahead of the field. Lisa Meldrum and Allison Johnson tied for fourth place individually to lead O-U.

O-U will next compete at the Roadrunner Invitational in New Mexico later this month.
