Clean-up crews hope to salvage court documents after fire swept through the Cherokee County Jail in Tahlequah Friday.

Jailers say two inmates admitted to rolling and smoking, smokeless tobacco and blowing the smoke through a hole they dug in the cement wall.

No smoking is allowed in the jail.

All inmates were either released until their next court date or sent to other county jails.
