Police are searching for suspects connected to nearly a dozen home burglaries in a south Tulsa neighborhood. The burglars are hitting houses during the day in the areas between 21st Street and 41st Street, Peoria Avenue to Harvard Avenue. They've hit 11 houses since September 2nd.

Police believe the burglars target high dollar homes. "They're going straight to the bedroom, and taking the jewelry,” said Tulsa Police spokesman Officer Lucky Lamons. “Then they're going into the dining room, and these guys actually know the difference between flatware and silver, actual silver."

If you have any information on any of these burglaries, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You don't have to give your name. If your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward of up to $1,000.
