(Norman-AP) -- Sophomore Quentin Griffin is still the starter at tailback according to OU head coach Bob Stoops.

But freshman sensation Renaldo Works will still get plenty of playing time.

Works has gained 207 yards with four touchdowns on 31 carries in the first two games. He also caught five passes.

Griffin has rushed for 86 yards on 22 carries, and also has caught five passes.

Stoops calls the position a partnership and says the two will continue rotating in and out of games.

The coach says playing time for the two will depend on the situation of each game, how well one or the other is playing at the time, in addition to how well the two are at carrying out assignments other than carrying the ball.
