Sapulpa-AP) -- A judge is set to hear the case against a 19-year-old accused of killing an Oilton child.

Robert Wayne Rotramel appeared in Creek County District Court this morning. His attorney requested a preliminary hearing, which was scheduled for October 16th.

Rotramel is accused of first-degree murder in the strangulation death of seven-year-old Christi Blevins last month. Christi and a 12-year-old friend were abducted while playing on an Oilton street.

Rotramel is accused of raping the 12-year-old.

Rotramel remained silent during today's court appearance.
