(Indianapolis-AP) -- Oklahoma's Gil Morgan has successfully defended his title at the Senior P-G-A Tour's Comfort Classic.

Morgan never had to worry about losing his lead in the tournament's final round. A steady rain and occasional lightning forced the cancellation of yesterday's final round, meaning Jim Ahern never had the chance to challenge Morgan.

Morgan's two-round total of 13-under 131 game him a one-stroke victory over Ahern.

It was Morgan's third win of the year. He claims $187,500 dollars for the win.

Ahearn was coming back from a neck injury that sidelined him for a month earlier this year. Ahearn earned $110,000.
